The Importance of Spiritual Health to Physical Healing
When one is spiritually or emotionally unhealthy, it will definitely affect his physical well being and become sick. If we have many fears, negative thoughts, anger, resentment, or abnormal amounts of stress, it can lead to negative effects of both our spiritual and physical health. If you ask ministers and some alternative health experts what they think about physical health, they will tell you that diseases that people encounter is a result of poor spiritual health and well being. It is believed by many people today that there is indeed a link between physical illness and spiritual or emotional factors.

To become really healthy you should try to cultivate emotions of love, joy, peace, patience, and faith in God. These are the fruits of the spirit. Filling your heart with these fruits of the Spirit will greatly help you filter out the negative emotions that keep you physically unhealthy but it also opens the door to God’s healing light.
The only way to face problems head long is when you are maintaining good spiritual health. If you build your faith in God during uneventful times in your life will help you keep the faith during times when your circumstances and health are challenged.
Reading the Bible, praying, meditating, deep breathing, and others, help to foster spiritual health. Emotional health and well being are promoted by all these activities. f you do these practices in your daily life, you will learn to take away the bad emotions like fear, anger, and bitterness. Reading the Bible helps us to focus on the love and faithfulness of God, which puts negative emotions out of your heart.
God can allow your physical illnesses to be prolonged despite your spiritual health. Handling your sickness in a strong manner is the effect of having a strong spiritual well being so you don’t really mind the sufferings of your physical infirmity.
